Membership in a local church is very important. Through church membership we identify with the vision and purpose of the fellowship.

People join churches for various reasons. To some it is a status symbol and it may look good for their community perspective. Some consider church membership as their basis of being saved and their entrance into heaven. Scripture clearly states the only way to salvation is the acceptance of Jesus’ sacrifice and faith in His completed works (Romans 10:9, 10). Salvation does not come from joining a church but from becoming a member of the Body of Christ by faith.

Membership in a local church is a step believers need to take to find the support, love, and care of the pastoral gift as listed in Ephesians 4:10, 11. It is in the letting of the local church where God will begin His equipping of the saint for the saint’s participation in the work of the ministry. Every believer has a gift and calling in his or her life, which can be discovered and exercised in the local church.

We at Word of Grace Ministries desire to see your gifts, callings, and talents used in the Kingdom. Membership in Word of Grace Ministries is offered to individuals who are over the age of 16.
